Chauffer driven private transport:The most convenient way to travel to Hirafu is by private transport. With a driver, usually Japanese speaking, meeting you at the arrival lobby of New Chitose International Airport, you can expect to be on the way to The Lodge at Niseko within 30 minutes of exiting the plane. From New Chitose International Airport, expect the journey to take a little over 2 hours. One way and return rates vary depending on numbers.

Shared coach transport:The most affordable option to make your way to and from Hirafu and The Lodge at Niseko is with a scheduled coach. Once you have entered the arrival lobby at New Chitose International Airport, follow the signs to the ‘Good Sports/Whiteliner’ desk at the Bus Information counter. Once you have checked in, wait for your scheduled coach to arrive and enjoy the 2.5 to 3 hour journey to the Hirafu Welcome Centre where you will be met by a Niseko Gourmet Boutiques member of staff and driven by private transport to The Lodge at Niseko.
NB. Bookings for shared coach transport departures cannot be scheduled until at least 1 hour after your flight arrival time into New Chitose International Airport. For departures from Hirafu, at least 4 hours prior to your departure from New Chitose International Airport is required.

Rates per direction are approximately ¥2,300.

Self Guided:If you have the time to explore the area surrounding Niseko then renting a car and driving is a great way to really use your holiday time wisely. Each car will be equipped with a GPS, unfortunately in Japanese, but following the directions is still easy once the destination has been entered which is as easy as having the rental car staff inputting a phone number.
Some important information if you are considering renting a car in Japan
•    The driver must have an International driver’s license.
•    The speed limit on all roads except expressways is a maximum of 50km/hr
•    You may have to use chains in the snow but your car will be 4WD.

Train:From the basement level of New Chitose International Airport, take the train to ‘Kutchan’ where you will be met by a Niseko Gourmet Boutiques member of staff and driven by private transport to The Lodge at Niseko.
